I suspected The Hearthstone Oven Bakery & Cafe’s peanut butter cookies were going to be good. Finding out exactly how good was the best part. It started with browsing a gorgeous trail of bread loaves which led me to neighboring fruit pies. As I heavily weighed the choice of apple in my right hand over peach in my left, I spied a nearby bag of fluffy frosted cinnamon rolls. Next to those were some truly amazing looking cookies – Snickerdoodle, Oatmeal Raisin, Chocolate Chip, Sugar, and, my favorite, Peanut Butter – which I had to try. What impressed me before the taste was their size. These cookies were larger than an average adult hand! From there it was love at first bite. Super moist and immensely flavorful, they got better with each bite. These were resoundingly the best peanut butter cookies I’d ever eaten.
