GUILTY AS CHARGED! As soon as these three dishes hit my taste buds, flavor court was adjourned. Each bite was exceptional in its own right, but, when tasted together the effect was just jaw dropping. The round steak actually was top cut with lime and Cuban spices, successfully magnifying its flavor. Quickly pan frying it with sautéed onions was the right call. When combined with the sweet fried plantains and silky savory yucca it made me want to do the cha cha right where I stood. Cuban comfort food does not get any more authentic than this.
