Okay, speaking as a NYer, this is odd. And yet I heard about it and had to try it. The dish is exactly as billed. A tasty slice of cheese pizza (no sauce) with a helping of standard mac & cheese on top. In the the name of reviewing integrity, I resisted the temptation to add a few shakes of hot sauce. The combination of cheeses between the two dishes added a splash of variety and the noodles were cooked just right. It really does work like two meals in one. I can only imagine this is every 2nd grader’s favorite spot in Madison.
