There are probably a thousand restaurants in America called Bangkok House. Visit one and traditionally you know you will find Pad Thai noodles. Visit this one and you will find a variety of Southeast Asian dishes, including the spicy ling phat noodles that may be from Indonesia and may not actually be noodles. I believe bean curd is involved, but short of a definitive answer, all I can say is this cold dish swimming in a spicy soy and mystery oil, specked with cilantro, hits on all notes. The mouth feel is chewy, the heat factor pretty intense after-burner, and chopstick difficulty degree 8 out of 10. You will not be sorry to have ling phat sauce stains all over you shirt after this easily affordable lunch.
