I almost never order an omelette, because very few people know how to properly cook them.  When I see a dish with so much potential delivered with a brown charred scab of a crust, it reminds me of  roadkill, and my heart just sinks. Not so at Sylvan Park! I’ve had multiple omelettes here and every time the eggs are always soft, fluffy, and packed with flavor. This one was no different. The “city ham” was perfectly cooked without being overly salty. The cheese was a nicely sharp cheddar, well melted, and generously portioned. When you use the buttery, salty, creamy grits as a binding agent you have a  flavor melody to die for. Thanks Sylvan Park. I can finally eat omelettes again!
