I was skeptical—famous spots don’t often live up to the hype—but Voodoo Doughnut blew me away. My sister and I tried the Bacon Maple Bar, Strawberry Go-Tart, and Memphis Mafia, and every bite was phenomenal. The doughnut options are fantastic, the price value is solid, and best of all, the dough recipe is delicious: not overly sweet, just perfectly balanced. There’s a reason this place is a Portland staple. Safe to say, we didn’t leave a single crumb.
