Don’t be misled by the name. Chocolate Shoppe does ice cream, at numerous locations in the Madison area – and you have to try local ice cream from the Dairy Capital of America, right? I went with a simple sundae: Door County cherry ice cream swimming in a pool of marshmallow (my personal weakness!).  The ice cream was stand-out creamy, amplified by a burst of tart cherry in nearly every bite. Next time I skip the marshmallow. This ice cream doesn’t even need it!
