It was Valentine’s Day, 2021 when the girls in my family decided to go out for Galentine’s lunch. Several friends who know about our love for smoothie bowls suggested E+Rose Wellness Cafe. The motto of this aesthetic place is “Inspire Wellness.” Upon entering, I was immediately inspired to fuel my body with a healthy treat from their menu. I decided on the Dark Heart Bowl because it was the seasonal special. To this day I continue to order this beloved bowl; it was such a popular item that it became an official part of the menu. The Dark Heart Bowl was my first valentine. Here’s the breakdown: a thick and sweet dark cherry smoothie base generously topped with strawberries, coconut, granola, cacao nibs, almond butter and honey. It’s love at first bite!
