Chili Cheese Omelet
You don’t drive 150 miles for a light breakfast! I decided to blow out of Chicago for the day and explore the college town of Madison, Wisconsin. First stop? Mickie’s Dairy Bar. If you’re looking for authentic retro/vintage, this is the place. I chose this dish because it contained all the major food groups. The chili and cheese blended perfectly with what I think were a couple of fried eggs beneath. That stack of taters? They call them Yanks. I have no idea why. Everything on the menu looked great, it’s Cash Only, and when I left there was a line out the door.
