Chicago Dog
After one taste of this perfectly balanced Chicago dog I felt like I was in the expensive seats at Wrigley Field. Cori begins with the Vienna beef frankfurter and then yellow mustard, white onion, sweet relish and dill pickles spears – and then jams in a couple of tomato wedges, spicy pickled sports peppers and celery salt. Instead of a typical hotdog roll, however, he flies in New England rolls which are thicker and more absorbent to soak up all the flavors. Add a side of sweet and spicy baked beans and you have quite the meal. I don’t know where this guy Cori is from but I imagine there is a nice Chicago family that would adopt him if he would cook for them. Play ball!
