What better way to spend the afternoon than sitting on Church Street in Burlington, Vermont and watching the people pass by? Leunig’s is an institution and a town favorite. It opened in 1980 as a coffee shop and cafe and has become a great Parisian-style bistro complete with an excellent wine and local beer list. We ordered two cheeses for the board and I had to have the cult favorite from the Alchemist Brewery in Stowe – the Focal Banger. The board had good sized pieces of local cheese as well as a cherry chutney, fresh fruit and crackers. We sat and watched the world walk by. Bon appetit!
