Apparently Voodoo Doughut is making its sugary run across America. I stumbled into my first one on a groovy stretch of S. Broadway in Denver where a loud rock band was warming up at a local club at 4 in the afternoon. The cornucopia of choices is a confectionary dreamscape. I opted for the Cap’n Crunch, which the clerk suggested I tamp down prior to consumption. Sure enough, in its slightly flattened state, you can max out to every soft, doughy, fresh, Cap’n-popping bite. This was my neighboring Pie Hole pizza chaser. None of this is going on my medical charts.
