Burrata Pie
On the night before my best friend’s baby shower, we procured the most coveted item of the day. Pizza! In my last review, I droned on about how much I missed northeast pizza. Topped with burrata, mozzarella, pecorino, prosciutto, basil and balsamic glaze, this one delivered. One thing about Fuoco’s is that because of the high temperatures in the coal-fired brick oven, your pie may be a little darker. You can request a lighter-baked pie, though personally, it doesn’t bother me. I think it adds to the pizza. Since we also had a buffalo pie, I didn’t add hot sauce to this one, but a drizzle would have taken it over the edge. Next time I’m in town I will definitely go all in and get the Money Hots Pie.
