I’m not normally a pancakes guy. I bog down in all the egg concoctions and that’s it. But look at the name of this place! Plus watching all the stacks come out, it was time to break the rules. I went with my old childhood standby. My plate was filled with fluffy, light pancakes topped with a not-too-syrupy blueberry compote. I asked for the whipped cream but these were too sweet and good to bother. Some crispy bacon added the savory bite to the meal. The space is a cheerful, bright, airy, university spot. They nearly had to roll me out.
