From the first loud crunch of its shell, I suspected that this beef empanada would be something exceptional, and it was! The perfectly fried crust was crispy, yet still with some doughiness and excellent flavor in its own right. The beef filling was packed with classic Cuban spices like garlic, cumin, bay leaf and oregano and its texture was spot on. This honestly may be the best empanada I have had in Nashville.
