Creamy Burrata
It’s the eggplant caponata – no, it’s the burrata! I am not quite sure whether it is the creamy burrata, chili oil, eggplant carbonara or fresh basil that makes me salivate at the sight of this dish, but I suspect it’s the burrata, which had a fantastic year in 2022. This Italian cow’s milk cheese popped up on pizzas, salads, sandwiches, bruschetta, soup, antipasto, risotto and lamb chops – making it arguably one of the most popular menu ingredients. And I’m a huge fan, especially when it’s served this fresh at Graze By Sam. Too late to save room for my main course.
