My friend and I were lucky enough to stumble upon Star Saloon while staying overnight in Huntsville, UT. Widely recognized as the oldest bar west of the Mississippi, they serve only burgers and dogs. Their claim to fame is the Star Burger  – “2 lean patties of beef, grilled Polish Knackwurst, melted cheese all served on a toasted sesame seed bun and including sautéed onions, mild seasoning, mustard, ketchup, pickles, lettuce and tomatoes. Chips are included.” Their menu and selection hasn’t changed ever and for good reason. We ate, had some beer, shot pool and played the jukebox. It was so good we went back the next night and did it all over again.
