Though they were once the unique claim of neighbors north of Boston, Kane’s has been a downtown destination for over a decade, thanks in great part to their award-winning original (as in 1955) recipe, which includes PLENTY of REAL honey. And while they can now be enjoyed nearly anywhere (thanks to a delivery website), there is nothing like grabbing one (or a dozen!) fresh from the oven en route to a meeting or on the way home from the beach or any other event or location. If honey is not your thing,  there are also plenty of other options, including seasonal treats made with Angry Orchard cider and some of the best gluten-free donuts around.
