When you walk into a comfortably populated cafe and, as you are being led to your table, you notice everyone is eating the same thing, you ask. And then you follow your nose. This old style chicken dish is served in a bubbling hotpot and ladled over a serving of fresh linguini. The flavors are robust Italian and the fowl is fall-off-the-bone tender. The dish was on the specials menu when we visited and I’d ask if you go. But the rest of the Euro-style menu was tantalizing and the place looks out over Lake Charlevoix. Hard to imagine how you could go wrong.
